so many things have been going on recently that i dont know what to write about first.

Orientation X was a blast, undeniably. especially the mass dances:D haha i dont know why i enjoy dancing in crowds so much man. although i definitely have to say that the first day wasnt really quite a tasteful one. i felt worse than shit when i knew that vjc doesnt offer music. (okay, i've talked about this mils of times but still.) honestly the feeling is even worse than not being able to enter the jc that you want OR even the feeling of getting back horrible results. it was like being robbed of something that was so precious and so rightfully mine. and i think this is perhaps the first time in my life i've made such an important decision by and for myself.

1st option: remain in vj arts and take another arts subject besides music. that means either china studies/art/theatre studies & drama/geog/hist.
2nd option:transfer to tj arts to take music.

which one would you choose if you were me?
to me, the subject of pursuit definitely triumphs over the school of prestige.

and let me tell you also that it is freaking intimidating to be in a state of uncertainity, especially when it concerns your future. i never ever want to be in that situation again.

2nd day was slightly better, although i felt extremely weird when i stepped into the auditorium/hall. it felt weirder to see my other secondary schoolmates and have them asking me why i transferred. needless to say irritating, to have them criticise or complain about my decision in changing school, saying it's so wasted and all that. i mean, would you rather i stayed in a prestigious school but suffer by having to take subjects that are unfamiliar to me/that i have completely zero interest in? and yea, tj's uniform is ugly, but i think i can sacrifice wearing an ugly uniform for two years rather than my A lvl results. okay to be frank i cannot really remmber what happened on the 2nd day except that i ordered my uniforms and went for literature lecture and sat for the music test in the afternoon.

as far as my memory prides me we had wet games on the 3rd day. those were REALLY cool especially the one on the stadium tracks. strategy, teamwork, accuracy and luck were required in equal proportions for this game and that really made it fun:D i wasnt quite as enthu for the cheers because of my dampened mood that lasted a few days and also because of my unfamiliarity with the weird cheers. (i mean, shabuya sha sha? like, huh?) and i got terribly sunburnt especially on the cheek and nose region. we also had to start planning on the items to be auditioned on wednesday and subsequently, if selected, be performed on O night. they included the TalentNight segment and the OG performance. and being an unfortunate member of the performing arts, i got dragged to the TalentNight segment :\ we finally decided on doing Innocence by Avril Lavigne and i was supposed to play keyboard. ok before i go on let me declare that my playing really really was misunderstandably screwed up. SOMEONE in particular even pointed out that OH SHIT we're performing next and your chords are always wrong! What an encouraging comment to be made just a minute before our turn to perform. okay whatever i know i deserved it yeah. oh and i had the mep performing audition. learnt two more new friends who are trying for mep as well and i think they're really nice people(: and talented too, of course. met zhenyi with kahsuan at century square for dinner and i think we had a nice time catching up with each other(:

i should really get my head into trying to learn how to improvise.

4th day of orientation was amazing race and it was the most un-rushed, relaxed and slacky amaznig race i've ever participated in. LOL i cannot believe we could still stop to buy bubble tea before we barely reached the mrt station. the games were fun on the overall but somehow i wished it would start pouring haha. :P the weather was cruelly scorching.

5th day of orientation - i could only remember myself screwing up the auditions in the afternoon and getting even more sunburnt from being exposed to the sun again.

thursday and friday are definitely the BEST days of the whole orientation period.:D dancing around the fountain of wealth in suntec definitely made me super high and crazy, jumping around like a madwoman. i screwed up the couple dance though :( kept having to look at other people to see what they were dancing before i could recall the steps LOL. nevertheless, laughing at my own stupidity was unmistakenably ENJOYABLE. it wasnt long before all of us got flooded and i mean literally so. we were drenched from head to toe by the unpredictable fountain. training around the fountain and slapping people's hands feeling like u're some celebrity was super fun too:D friday was no less awesome, we actually had a real-live pop concert right in our school hall haha it was like in a disco just that the disco ball wasnt there;) i learnt a new vocabulary from shannen: mosh. that is, to bang your head crazily in the air and jump hysterically with your fist punching above your head. haha, or that's what i assumed it meant. the entire hall was dark except the stage and almost everyone was jumping around madly. im a proud mad mosher:D oh and the best thing of all is that XEIA IS CHAMPION HOUSE! we actually bagged first prizes in the X photo competition, the Talent Night segment AND the OG performance! LOl im so proud of myself to actually be in the winning house! :D then cheered like mad and jumped around somemore. and i think i lost a bit of weight too haha;D oh ya and our shabuya cheer never fails to crack me up. i think the change of pitch from girls to guys is so DAMN HILARIOUS. :DDD

haha and im actually such an appreciative and grateful person that i actually cared to count my blessings! ;D i have seven nice ones so far. hahaha dont call me crazy.

i think my standard of writing has deteriorated like about 70%. :( just compare this post to one of my posts a year ago :( this post is totally incoherent.

THOU SHALL WORK HARD THIS YEAR, AND EVEN HARDER THE NEXT. THOU DO NOT WANT TO ACHIEVE LOUSY RESULTS LIKE WHAT THOU HAS GOTTEN FOR Os.

oh yes one more thing: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT WHEN PEOPLE TELL ME HOW COOL IT IS TO TAKE MUSIC FOR A LEVELS:D
