i went to watch the mooncake festival performance in school yesterday. this year's performance was really entertaining i must say, at least much better than the previous years. i thought it would be held in the hall, but it was instead held in the HOT parade square that darkened into the evening. anyway, aijia and shawn tok performed for us and i was quite affected by the lousy mike system that didnt do justice to their performance at all. the sec ones performed some dizi pieces for us and even though their pitching was bad, its worthy of congratulation since they are barely thirteen year olds and they just started learning this year. ah, im still jealous over the fact that they get to learn such a wonderful new skill. we didnt even get the chance to learn anything during sec one, in fact i dont even remember doing anything except watching the Sound of Music. last highlight of the night's performance was dr boon singing 月亮代表我的心. i thought it would just be screwed up but that was surprisingly quite nice, miss khoo could do nice harmony(: we yelled for an encore, but didnt get a response, lol:D the only thing that disrupted our enthusiasm was the extremely irresponsible actions of some teachers -- shant say who here -- that really turned liling and i off. i mean, please dont give us permission to sit on the seats for teachers if you know that we are not supposed to. you really caused us much agony in having to bear the unpleasantness of explaining to different teachers why were we sitting on the benches, and causing us much accusation uncalled-for. do you think you are a joker or what?

SHUT UP, you effing idiot. who wants to work in this school with such undiscerning and unreasonable teachers who dont even want to open up their ears to LISTEN to students. you know thats why sometimes i think i really made a mistake in choosing this school. even tkgs might be a better choice lah.



oh man, im getting so tensed up over the O level music and higher music practicals this coming thurs and fri. even though i've learnt the pieces until they're like part of me, i still get the jitters and sudden surge of adrenaline whenever i think of it. haiz, i think the best birthday present joscelin can give me this year is just to play well for the duet...

dora chan, you dont have time to waste. last month to Os, and you better grasp it tight.
