WOW. i havent been blogging in months, literally. i think i've set a record lol. even my typing skills seem to have become raw. my fingers dont glide as i type like last time instead they are like so numb and im making so many errors as i type which is so annoying. hah thats not the main point anyway. i've come to update on my life.

so let's take off when i left off the last time i blogged. first it was the band concert that i attended on the 17 of jan with liling and mabel and qianru and joanne. one plus point is that i really could sense the effort put in by the band members, they really worked super hard. i think those who had solos deserved even more credit, like sharmaine! she solo-ed quite a considerable lot. actually, there's quite a fair bit im not satisfied with, but i shant say all out here in case history repeats itself. firstly i sat around the middle area at the left seats and the view was horrible. i had to stretch my neck the whole way through the concert, and yet i couldnt even see the conductor. secondly, the acoustic was terrible. i couldnt hear the music properly, like sometimes, i dont hear the harmony of the non-melody instruments which totally disturbs my listening experience. and thirdly, the people around me, especially those behind me, are a freaking hulabalu of chatterboxes! i wanted to ask them to shutup. they dont even have a tint of concert etiquette and this pissed me off alot. fourthly, the microphones were so soft and the echo level was so high that i cant even make out what the two emcees were trying to say the whole time.they were like mumbling. sorry to the emcees for their efforts but we, the audience cant hear anything. but on the overall, the school spirit was there and the support was great. how i wish there would be this kind of support for CO concerts. it would make me so happy. but sadly, western influence is rife in singapore.

next was cherlene's birthday lunch, which she treated all of us --qianru, joanne, joscelin, cherilynn,yingting, melanie and me to swensens at airport terminal 2. i hadnt really thanked her properly for it so THANK YOU CHERLENE FOR THE AWESOME LUNCH:D haha the earth quake ice cream was totally yum. we went shopping for chinese new year clothes after that and i bought a mini dress. thank god i wore my sneakers on that day cos we walked for quite some miles. i really hope we can still contact each other after we leave secondary school although i have a strong feeling that we wont get into the same jcs D: haiz. i wont forget this group of best friends i have(:

and then comes chinese new year! haha my sisters and i wore our nyonya kebayas that we bought:D we wanted to bask in the craze of the peranakan saga that has originated from the TV drama serial 小娘惹. i got a white kebaya, da jie got a pink one with a matching skirt and eve got a white-and-pink one with a black skirt. our relatives were observably impressed by our dressings. haha all thanks to the crazy ideas of da jie. this year, i got the same amount of hongbao money from my relatives but i got more from my parents. haha dont know why they decided to give more. this year's cny gatherings were quite boring. partly cos i forgot to bring cards to my maternal grandparents' house and we had practically nothing to do there except lunch and tv. but the second day was more interesting, cousin tsui yee brought her 15month old daughter reyanna and she's so cute:D i always go so gaga over babies. i mahjong-ed with eve, candice and clarice. and lost money D: haha never mind, i cant always win all the time. this year was an exception cos we didnt play blackjack with my 7th uncle being the banker. actually its better cos thinking back, i feel bad for him always letting us win money from him haha. and the four of us were mahjonging with zest until sadly we had to leave early at 9.30pm, cos i had to perform in school the next day.

on the fourth day of chinese new year, i had my very last CNY performance in school. first in the morning we performed the shortened version of gu yue. sucks like shit, the echoes through the hall were so distracting and caused our coordinations to go haywire. urgh. but we came back together in the end. whew if not it would be so freaking embarassing. im so glad we managed to play through. that's probably my last time performing guyue with percussion.D: the two chinese new year songs were okay..nothing much to say about it. just a bit sian for playing it so many times already.

then came cherlene's birthday on the 30 jan haha. we gave her this really pretty pink frame of picture collage that we done for her. omg. i so wish i could have that lah! its really damn damn pretty i cant find any words to describe. haha i got a photo of it but not gonna post now cos no time. and we also gave her a zinc bag, hope she liked it, the size is nice(:

on that day itself, i went to amaths tuition teacher mr ng's house at Cranborne road with zhenyi and sihui from harmonica orchestra. eve didnt want to go cos she sprained her ankle at basketball practice. still ask me to take angbao from mr ng for her. so 不要脸. and omg his bungalow is so grand and handsome lah. there are even two armours greeting you at the entrance of the living room. and i think the entire house with all the furnishings and furniture really can cost up to $5 million. the only thing missing from his house for it to look like a mansion is a grand piano lol seriously. he told us that he got a buffet for 120 ppl and it wasnt even enough, and he gave out $2100 worth of angbaos to 210 ppl who attended his gathering. that means his house could accomodate more than 210 ppl at one time. omg, i dont even think its possible to fit that amount of people into my house. scary. but the bad thing is that the house is super inaccessible. we had to take bus for about 20mins and walk for half an hour. lols and we got quite frustrated taking directions from mr ng and had to cross the road and cross it back again. i think mr ng is really worthy of our respect, he is always so willing to share things with us and i have no idea how he remembers all of our names so well.

oh ya then on the 4 of feb i went to watch 'the wedding game' by fann and chris with dajie and eve again. haha it was the first time i chiong-ed into an mrt train when the door is like peeepeeepeee already. damn scary. liling is SO the culprit. how dare she run faster than me. anyway i thought that the movie was quite funny but not satisfying enough. in some parts i even thought their acting and the storyline was quite fake. i mean, who would really run after a tour bus on a motorcycle, and who would really propose using grass and hay...

after that its valentines' day! haha we celebrated it on friday the 13th cos VDay fell on a saturday this year. i received so many gifts and tokens that they are even more than what i receive on my birthday seriously. i cant even remember who gave me what for those who didnt write their names. i got so many chocs and sweets that until now i still cannot finish. haha thanks to everyone who gave me valentines day presents okay, i REALLY APPRECIATE THEM. oh ya, and this year we played angel and mortal game again. i still remember last year my mortal was tianxun XP. i bought a bag of chips for him and guess wad. i saw his friend eating it after school luh. walao. felt so !@$@#$ after that. but lols whatever. i did my part as an angel. my angel was mabel last year and she gave me a keychain i still remember. see i dont forget those who do me deeds:D this year my mortal is lynette and i bought a bar of toblerone for her. actually i wanted to buy some nice macaroons for her but i didnt know where the hell to find them. my angel is wayne haha and how nice, i got black pepper and lemon chocolate from him LOL. totally didnt expect it man. after school i open it for people to try and got so many different reactions.but i really wished those who had nothing nice to say, shut up their asses.really, the world would be so much better without you ppl.

nothing much happened during the month of february already, except that we are all so much nearer to SYF and the Os. i really dont know what to think. im not even studying for all the tests im having right now, even for music that i love most. obviously as a result, they are all screwed up. i dont even remember a single A apart from both maths and music. thats pathetic. my L1R5 is definitely going to be above 13 this term. TERRIBLE ME. and for SYF, even getting a gold is sort of a disappointment now. i think the school is having more expectation on CO now that we had a debut concert already. speaking of concerts, i really wish we can have another concert this year, and we can come back as alumni to perform:DDDD

next up to expect during this month of march is firstly the Dunman high school CO concert that im attending on wednesday! haha cant wait to watch their yangqin ensemble of乡村抒怀. its gonna be so damn cool. jingyun told me that they are going to play it damn fastt. EXCITING. second on the list is the Chinese drama that im attending on sunday 15 march with liling. and thirdly, the CO training camp during the holidays that we're having to improve on our skills. i really hope there would be more improvements, we're not getting anywhere if we continue like this.

here i am, having a tough job as treasurer, and there you are, not cooperating, giving me a tough time and sulking away. whats more to whine about, HUH. i hope you could change your attitude towards me. seriously, i done nothing wrong.

i wish i could shut my mind off to those time-wasting thoughts that are so distracting. its so difficult but i really need to FOCUS. I CANT BELIEVE ITS MARCH ALREADY!

i like pleasantville.
and im totally falling in love with Andaluza. SO taking it for music O level! :DDDDDD
