okay i havent blogged in a long time :P everyday i got to leave the house early to reach dunman high in buona vista at 9, and come home in the evening at 7, how can i not be so tired and busy lah.

this camp has really allowed me to learn so much, be it CO skills or otherwise. omgg i cant believe how much i've learnt and experienced, and the amount of professionalism that i am being exposed to. especially the musical expressions, 台风. i have finally understood how to do taifeng-- naturally. but most importantly it has taught me to be a stronger person, not to give up and to always perservere no matter what setbacks i face, yes. 跌倒了就要自己爬起来. dont wait for people to help you up, cos by then it will be too late, opportunity would have taken its leave and you'd lose the chance to catch up.

haha i made a few friends at the camp. four of them, all play yangqin one. huizhen from bedok south, minghui from ngee ann, jingyun and jinjia from dunman high. i absolutely LOVE talking to huizhen. she's so funny and im addicted to her laughter its so cute haha! :D she does the funniest things. and minghui is so funny too, she actually calls the metal nuts on the yangqin 'ball-balls'. omg make me laugh like siao. will post up pictures of them when im free.. anyway they are all so super PROFESSIONAL, all got take exam grades one. make me feel so inferior at first :P especially the jinjia, he can play the yangqin like as if his hands are not controlled by him like that. O.O he can swing the sticks around much faster and better than me lah, its amazing to see him play his exam pieces. but anw now i feel better. although im still quite unhappy that im not chosen to play in the 小合奏s. damn damn. cos on monday my mind was still raw and thats why i couldnt play smoothly larh. so sadly, i will only have one single chance to appear onstage, cos there's only one miserable dazu song which is 上海滩. but its okay, i'll make full use of that single chance to perform my best. be it physical and musical expressions, accuracy of notes and rhythms etc, iLL DO MY BEST. and im going to ask huizhen to let me sit in the front row instead of the back row so that i can show off all my ability. you can call me desperate or anything, but i dont care. its my chance and i wanna grab it tight.

although dazu's been a great bore. cos there's only one miserable easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy dazu song that we have to practise for the whole afternoon everyday. and the stupid old laokokkok of a conductor keeps repeating the same things over and over again. the worst thing is when he asked us to play the same two bars ten times over and over again, oh man that was a total nightmare. and where got people name their son '超级' one. so dumbbie!

oh and did i mention the instructors. they are even more pro. saying that all of them are in 最高境界 definitely isnt an understatement. for example, the yangqin teacher can play a grade9 piece while she talks to another student and comment on his wrong playing. or, she can play and at the same time turn behind and listen for all their mistakes. and mind you its a GRADE NINE piece she's playing its not easy at all. but she makes it seem so easy lah, totally makes me jealous.

oh but i guess besides all the tiring and almost-torturing practices every single day, the more optimistic things to think about are the snacks they have in between breakfast and lunch haha. everyday we have a snack at 10.30, lunch at 12.30 and another snack at 3.30. not bad at least they never 亏待us. and they also gave us a ring file designed by them, a tshirt of the same design and two magnetic bookmarks with the organisation's logo. shucks lah the tshirt M size is so big, i wear already cant even see my shorts really. dumb leh and the armhole is so big that if i roll the sleeves up i totally look like im wearing a singlet to wash car lah. unglam man!guess i can only wear it at home lah.

oh yeah and i also really enjoy the hours on the Mrt trains that the six of us share. the chatting was funny yea, and i can say that i got to know the five of you much much better(: haha especially peiyi, her actions and everything are so cute they really make me wanna laugh and smile for no reason lah.haha 小乌龟！

to sum the whole camp all up: i dont want it to end so quickly. tomorrow's the last day before the concert day. there's captain's ball tomorrow, purpose is to bond. three hours of it. but i doubt i'll actually play lor. i cant make it at ball games.



honestly who cares about keeping their blogs alive. what's the meaning of 'alive' anyway. a blog doesnt have a life. if you wanna be specific i would say that i write my posts for myself to read, not for anyone else. i can privatise my blog if i want and not allow anyone access to it, but why? i dont see the point in keeping it 'alive' anyway. this blog is mine, you got no right to criticise it okay. i mean, look at yourself. you are no better. in fact, you are kinda stupid, with your lack of knowledge and sensitivity.

and THANK YOU SI MUN! you dont know how indebted i feel towards you, cause you helped me a WHOLE LOT.
