hahaha this is my 6 year old cousin Nicholas.oh my look at the number of ppl queueing outside the library before it open! have u seen something like dat b4.LOL. like, its a library? not a jay chou concert? hahaha.
ya ok and so, yesterday i went to bedok library to do cip with joscelin and charlynn. and then last week, joscelin borrowed this book called The luckiest girl by Beverly Cleary and it looks very cute. so last week i told her to lend me after reading it. yes, so yesterday she could actually just simply pass it to me and i will help her return it next next monday. but she just refused cos she said that i will lose the book. -.-. like wth, its my SISTER who loses books, not me. :P.IM NOT SO IRRESPONSIBLE LAH FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE. anyway, joscelin did not wan to listen to me no matter what i said. so she insisted on returning it and den ask me to take it from the sorting room. so of cos i wanted that book yea and we just did as she said. little did we know we are not supposed to do that. and then the librarian down there scold scold scold and scold like as if i committed the biggest crime in the whole world or like as if i murdered someone. anyway i think she doesnt understand lor. she thinks that im doing this to avoid the renewal payment of 50cents. but she doesnt know that its joscelin who wanna return it and i who wanna borrow it. i felt like rebutting her lah. omg. i have never seen anyone who is so impolite can. ok, i know that its one of the library rules, but does she have to be so rude to me, as a user of the library? wth. i got scolded for nothing lah. if joscelin had agreed to lend me the book in the first place i wouldnt have got into so much trouble.><
but anyway in the end b4 we left for lunch the book was already in a trolley ready to be shelved. so i quickly took it while the librarian wasnt looking and borrowed it. but im still extremely unhappy cos i got scolded for, basically, NOTHING!!! however this whole incident has left me thinking real hard for awhile. learnt that there are all kinds of people in this world, and that different ppl got different thinkings. some ppl are just really selfish and their trust for others is really minimal. but we still gotta be more understanding and accept these ppl lah, cuz, whose fault is it that they are like that?? we cant blame them so much...
